Join us for five magical days and nights at a beachfront resort on the sparkling Sea of Cortez for 2023's Gathering of Joy. We've woven together a very special tapestry of meditation, music, yoga, soul-enhancing talks, beach bonfires, and other Joyful experiences. You’ll also have plenty of time to relax at one of the resort pools or choose to snorkel, kayak, or paddleboard in the adjacent eco-preserve. Indulge in options like swimming with whale sharks or seeing Mama and baby grey whales up close -- the choice is yours! Don't miss being a part of the week of Joy -- only 11 spots available, so sign up before it's sold out!
Inspired by “The Book of Joy,” we came to realize that how we feel is not necessarily a result of what is happening around us but rather it is what is cultivated by us inside of us (eg JOY!). The Gathering of Joy is an opportunity to visit extraordinary places, using awe as a tool to help us to reconnect and generate group wisdom around the Joy that comes from a balanced heart and mind, all while indulging in and interacting with an extraordinary community. Join us and we’ll co-create a sense of wonder and Joy together! Don’t miss the chance to rediscover the Joy that is your birthright.
Experience signature Gathering of Joy magic. Loaded with opportunities to experience, share and cultivate Joy with others and on your own, we aim to help you unleash your sense of discovery and Joy.
Our typical day includes multiple opportunities to learn and meditate with Emiliana and Jacques Pierre, music and/or drum circles with Mandi Gee, yin yoga with Jeny and on at least one occasion a sound experience extraordinaire with Eva. We've also added the option for you to book private custom sessions with any of our practitioners. And, of course, access to paddle-boards and kayaks, pools, kitchens, barbecues, and gathering spots throughout the resort. Moreover, we’ll have a trained naturalist guide on the grounds. You can do as much or as little as you wish, it’s your retreat!
New to The Gathering this year, we’re starting and ending our time together with Saul’s shamanic blessings, and the opportunity for innovation, co-creation, and an introduction to our virtual world all in our own on-site private theater.
You’ll leave with unforgettable memories of restoration, connection, growth, and special experiences.

From our resort, this is a wonderful opportunity to travel (+/- 3-hour drive) to Magdalena Bay and connect with these amazing fellow mammals and travelers. Or a male may come up alongside your boat, look you right in the eye, and spout water into your boat (are they laughing?). You’ll see couples roll by as well, oftentimes completely ignoring you. Every adventure is unique.
Private custom experiences with our practitioners are available. These can include Yoga, Meditation, Shaman experiences, Massages, and more.
Please note that Massages need to be booked in advance. All prices vary, contact us to learn more.
